Speeding being the main offence at 60% of learners, followed by another 40% jumping a red light. But put into context that only accounts for 1% of the 7,000,000 learners on Uk roads. Nearly 1/3rd got points for no insurance and 1 in 6 were charged with driving recklessly.

Is this because they drive with friends or family rather than an approved instructor?

Following on from what I reported previously, the DSA has now confirmed that from October the cost of the theory test will drop by £6 from £31 to £25, with a further drop of £2 in October 2015. There are no plans to reduce the practical test fee.
